i got this hdmi cable from a friend its labeled E119932 AWM 20276 80*C 30V VW-1 COPARTNER and it has a funky "RU" symbol between ..32 and AWM, and says high speed on it. My question is does it support 3D and what type of cable is it?

Almost certainly. Speed is much more of a marketing term than an absolute spec. Almost ever single HDMI cable ever made (and DVI also) will pass 3D. Any cable that can pass 1080p 60Hz will easily pass 3D.

About the only time you would have a problem is on a long (>10') run using a lower quality cable.
