Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and hope I will get the answers I need. I have 2 floor standing speakers from ULTRA LINEAR. Here are the Specs:
ULTRA LINEAR ULH10T Dual 10" Home Theatre Tower (Each)
400 Watt Rms Power Handeling
8 ohm
91 db
3-way-passive
Freq resp: 20 Hz-22 kHz
2 10" subwoofers
6.5" mid-range woofer
1.5" silk dome tweeter

I also have a bryston 3b 2 ch amp which is 150 watt per ch @ 8 ohm or 400 watt bridged @ 8 ohm and a pre amp by brsyton which i hook up my ipod to.

when i hooked every thing up using each ch for each tower i noticed that the speakers were not as loud very loud. Is there some thing i am doing wrong? it seems to me that the the speakers are not getting enough power. Iv used this amp with similar speakers before then boy did they pound. Can anyone give me some advice please.

I haven't heard of this brand either. Anyone ever caught guys trying to sell speakers out of a van?

One of my roomates in college back in the 70's had a pair. I don't remember the model #. After 1 or 2 six packs they sounded okay. Decent bass but the top end would make your ears fall off your head. Your wasting a perfectly good Bryston amp. Time to move on to a decent speaker unless you also have a couple of six packs before you listen.

These are 'white-van' speakers.

Even if the sound is acceptable, the danger with white-van speakers is they
can present an unpredictable load to the amp. In some cases, the impedance
drops so low that the amp shuts down or, worst of all, damages itself due to
overload.

I'm not a snob but I'd get rid of them. I certainly wouldn't connect my Bryston
(which I don't have) to a pair of these.
