I have decided to build my first htpc and am already stuck on which case to buy. They are both Silverstones. The smaller one, ML03B, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163174 is what I prefer because of the small form factor. That, however, is not a huge issue, as I could easily get used to the GD05B, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163166.
I have been careful to choose the power supply and blu-ray burner for the ML03B that will work together in that case, as I know that size is crucial. (The PSU is a Silverstone 500W modular with the short cable package.) If I go with the larger case, I'll probably couple it with a Seasonic modular PSU.
I just picked up the Ceton Infinity 4 internal tuner card for $219 at the Egg and am somewhat concerned about heat in the smaller case, even though I have selected three very good 80mm case fans. I'll also plan to mount a small video card fan on the Ceton. I'll be going with the i3 2100T, so it will come with the smaller cpu fan/sink.
Given these concerns, would the smaller ML03B be OK, or would the larger case be better? What would you do? I have room in my entertainment shelves for either one.
