Are people testing the playability of these discs? My disc 1 locked up my SONY player -- did not play or progress -- nothing visible onscreen -- blu-ray player would not accept any other commands either by remote or manually. Had to unplug the unit in order to eject the disc. Then I did try playing some of the discs after unplugging, and some played at that point, but at other times did not, and repeated the same lock-up cycle. Obtained a second GOT set and replaced the problem discs with those from the second set, and they all played. Went back again after watching some movies to the same discs that had earlier played, only to find that many would not now play.
This is the only set, or blu-ray of any kind, I've ever had trouble with. Is there an unnatural load time that could be taking over five minutes before anything happens? This is horrifying to me, as after I got the second set and disc one played, I tested it for playability only to be so entranced by the gorgeous gorgeous visuals (opening LFE quite a delight as well), that I ended up watching the whole first episode -- every scene more beautiful than the one before. This is one pretty pretty series on blu -- I want these discs to work, dammit!!!
