It's fine, though if it's seen rough use you might consider recertifying it. I have a Eye One Beamer, which is essentially an old version of the i1Pro, and it is identical in speed to an i1Pro rev D with CalMAN. I timed runs with each to be sure. Accuracy above 40% was similar, though below 40% the older unit was worse.
