I have an Onkyo HT-RC260 receiver and I'm trying to play my iPod through the speakers while I play PS3/xbox. My current setup is I have the HDMI for the PS3 running to the receiver and then an HDMI running from the receiver to TV. I have a monster cable plugged into the front output area that goes into my iPod. I also have the TV plugged into the receiver with an optical cable so I can play netflix and pandora from the tv and hear it on the speakers. Currently, if I have the TV on, the AUX output will not play the iPod. As soon as i turn the TV, the iPod comes through the speakers. Anyone have any advice on how I can fix this? Thanks!
