Not much talk about this one on here.
(Shocked when I saw Tom Cruise is starring in it!)

Hoping it will be good but not getting my hopes up....anyone else looking forward to seeing this?

At first, a while back, I was thinking "No way! Cruise is making an over the top mistake with this one!" But for some reason I never considered that it would be a comedy. And after seeing the trailer and learning of the cast I'm kind of intrigued and thinking not great but greater possibilities. I don't think I'll go out of my way (unless the buzz and reviews are strong) but on a kid free night and nothing else going on, I might check it out.

Every trailer and commercial for this makes me want to see it less, which is a pretty impressive feat considering that I started with basically no interest in it anyway.

From what I can glean, despite being the only actors featured in the TV ads, Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin both have small parts. The actual stars are Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta. Given that Boneta is a nobody, and Hough's last starring role was the flop Footloose remake, nobody at the studio wants the audience to know this.

No way in hell I'll pay money to see this. I'm more stoked about the CBGBs movie, with Alan Rickman (Hilly Kristal), Joel Moore (Joey Ramone), Rupert Grint (Cheetah Chrome) and Malin Ackerman (Debbie Harry). I'll take my rock 'n' roll straight, thank you very much. Tom Cruise's poseur turn is a definite pass for me.

The Wife was talking about this Movie all excited yesterday, and being an old time Def Lep fan myself, and in general still stuck in the 60`,s 70`s, 80`s for the most part, it sounded like it might be worth seeing. But that Trailer makes me wan`t to pass altogether..I`ll stick to my own Concert experiences.

Anyone check this out yet?

Hell no, ....it will be out on video next month for a handful of those who I hope will have some fun with it. I hope Cruise will learn his lesson for this epic bomb and stick to what works for him. He thought well after Ghost protocol he's on top of the world and invincible ...NOT

By the trailer it looks quite good. I wouldn't mind seeing this.
