Micomsoft's newest toy. Equipped with a Marvell QDEO Kyoto G2 processor the Mini takes it's place as the new king for 240p processing !

Nice Review!

I'd like to check one of these out someday.

I wonder how it would do with a Sony 95ES or 1000ES?

nice!
Awesome review fudoh! Now I wonder if anyone would like to buy 2 slightly used holo3d cards.

Now the big question, do I pay to mod my consoles for rgb and buy a xrgb-mini, or transfer to emulation........ So many choices.

Hmm, no VGA output is somewhat disappointing since I sometimes use a CRT monitor. I guess I could use an HDFury2 or something, those don't introduce any delays, do they?

no, they don't and yes, you can.

Picked one of these up yesterday. Totally worth the cash, all retro consoles and the Wii greatly benefit from it. Hopefully micomsoft will fix some of the minor bugs. fudo's review was spot on.

I thought there was a polarity issue with the Fury2? Or am I not paying close enough attention?...

The Fury 2 can't be used to feed a SLG3000 scanline emulator. Other than that it's perfectly fine. I had one for quite some time.

Hey John,

if you want to upgrade to the Mini, then yes, it will solve your problem.

With the XRGB-3 I had the same problem when I replaced my Sony XBR5 with a HX900. Adding a RGB interface in between (I have an Extron RGB 203 Rxi) did the trick and the XRGB-3 worked fine on the HX900 in B1. I would suspect that it would work on your setup as well. Cheaper Extron RGB interfaces like the 190 are available for $25-30 on ebay.com, so if you want to keep your XRGB-3 for now, give it a try.
