HQV vida processor

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone is using the HQV vida video processor?. I am interested in hearing about this processor and what it does to analog video sources like DVD or laserdisc. I am looking for a new AVR, and was wondering if the HQV Vida actually does improve SD video.
I hope I am asking this in the correct forum, as I know the processor is within a AVR, and was not sure which section to post the question. Thank you.
regards,
Juz

The Onkyo 3009 and Integra 80.3 both with the Vida 1900 chip have had the best scaling I have seen to date in a Receiver or Pre-Pro.

Hi Joerod,
Thanks for your reply and the information in regard to the Onkyo and Integra receivers, which have the HQV vida processor. I had been searching for quite a while for "real hands on" reviews , but no luck until now.
I just started reading the reviews on your fabulous website, it's very interesting reading, exactly what I was trying to find.
I love the dogs, they are cool.
Thanks again for taking the time to help me out.
Regards,
Juz.

No problem. Glad to help. Rocco may end up being a poster dog for Sony and their 3D glasses!
