I recently installed an Elan g! HC6 controller to distribute audio files stored on a HP MediaSmart 487EX Server. I am using an Elan g! TS7 touchscreen interface and gConnect on my laptop.
I create playlists of my music files using either the TS7 or gConnect viewer. The HC6 updates its library of music files by scanning the music files on my media server for new or changed entries. Each time I initiate a scan, after the scan is completed the content of the playlists I previously created are empty. If I don't do a scan the playlists I created remain saved. I cannot figure out how to solve this problem.
Anyone with similar experience on how to resolve would be greatly appreciated. It's driving me crazy. Thanks.
