Issue with Old Stewart Grayhawk and RS45

Thread Starter
My firend just got a RS45. He has an 10 year old Stewart GrayHawk. I can see the screen the matrial in the picture. It adds like a grain to it and shimmer (sparkles). Makes the image look bad. Takes away for the shapness alot. Is this tipical of the older screens? He is just is not happy he just bought the RS45 and it doesn't look that much better then my HD20. I'm really thinking it's just the screen messing with the image. What do you all think? Thanks

Time to get a new screen. Older screens were 480 only with higher quality they show the grain. Even many of todays screens will not do well on 4K.

He needs a new screen. The screen is very, very important to get the proper image

If it's fixed, he can purchase the material only for his existing frame.
