Need Help

Ok so please bare with me as I am not a huge tech person and know how to do a lot of the things most of you guys do lol. Here is what I am looking for I am tired of going to grab a DVD/Blu Ray and can't find the disc and want to just put everything on some form of player or system and forget about it and be able to pull up the movie titles on my tv and select what I want to watch and be done with it. So what would I go for don't have a ton of money to spend so like under $300.00 would be great. I am not looking to stream stuff but if at some point I wanted to watch Netflix or something along those lines would I be able to? Any help would be great.
