HELP - Onkyo Standby with Insight Remote

Is there anyone out there who knows how to program an Insight Cable remote to BOTH turn on and turn off my Onkyo TX-nr609? I have owned three Onkyo's over the past ten years and it seems all of them require a separate signal to turn it on and turn it off.

I don't know if that's still true, but the cable remote still can't turn the Onkyo off, even though it can turn it on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what code got you the onkyo on command?

just want to be sure who makes this remote.

Interested in this as well. I have insight and a onkyo 609 and can only get it to power off or power on and control volume. All I really want is to power off/on, and control the volume.
Just for reference here are the codes I used:

30135 Will Power on and control volume.
30842 Will only power off.

For now I am using 30135, I figure if I can get it on I can let it auto stand-by when I turn everything else off. The manual says this takes 30 minutes to work, which is longer than I like. I wonder if this is some how reprogrammable? Maybe a firmware update? However, I can't get auto stand-by to work? The manual doesn't give much help on it either. I powered off my cable box when I went out to dinner tonight and was gone just over an hour and when I got home it was still only displaying CBL/SAT No Signal instead of going into stand-by.
