I need a new receiver, preferably cheap :/

I have the Sony MHC-EC69i which is great for ipod play and fm radio, and such. However I am not able to connect my speakers to my tv or projector with the receiver it comes with. I am hoping to be able to just buy an additional receiver to be able to use the speakers I have to watch movies. Do you have any suggestions that are relatively cheap? products buy JVC looked pretty cheap and decent but old and i don't know how reliable they would be.

Well, generally I would like to go with something less than $100 becuase I just want to be able to use my speakers for movies and video games, I will definetly be upgrading in the future but I haven't decided where I will go with my whole set up. I looked at your setup which is excellent by the way and noticed the use of all the onkyo parts. Would this be a good starting receiver,
