Is the Pioneer Elite PRO-1130HD a Kuro

Hi Guys :

Is the Pioneer Elite PRO-1130 Pioneer Elite Plasma Display a Pioneer Elite Kuro ? That is the TV that I have. Which generation is it. When I purchesed it the salesperson said it was 7th generation glass. When you guys say 7th or 8th generation are you talking about the glass on the display or the tv model or what?

This TV is probably around 7 years old but still has great picture quality. I recently purchased a Pioneer Elite VSX-52 receiver and when running the video signal thru the marvell video processor noticed a remarkable impovement in PC. In fact it changed my mind from upgrading TV.

Thanks for input. I assume from what you are saying that the next year or model 1150 was the beginning of Kuro ? Is Kuro a trademark or series of models ? Not that it makes a difference. Maybe Kuro began when 1080P was available. The 1130 is 1080i/720P. Wish that I had waited a few months O well how many times have I said that in my life.
