Newbie: Need help on screen ideas

I am in process of building out media room. I just wanted to find out what kind of screen should I put in this room. I have been reading all the DIY screens. Here are my measurements and specs

Projector : Epson 8350
Front Wall to seating area = 11ft
Ceiling height = 8ft

Front wall = 163" inches wide and 96 inches height

I am thinking 92" screen size is best based on the room and numbers

The plan is put the projector 12 ft from the wall. See pics of room. Ignore the sample paints in middle area of wall lol.

Let me know your thoughts on screen ideas.

Let me also add that ill be using it to watch TV, movies and play PS3. There are no windows so lighting is controlled.

Not sure if I should do BOC or Sinatra board. The paint mix and Sinatra board seems like a lot of work but well worth it.

Hoping to hear some feedback soon.

Sinatra Board, eh?

Whose are ya....a Wise Guy?

It's called Sintra, and its at least, if not actually a easier "do" than constructing a Frame & Screen out of BOC...something that would also still need to be painted to be truly worthy.

You could go as big as 110" from a viewing location of 11' (54" x 96") and iffin' it were me, that's what I'd do. However, cutting a 48" x 85" size out of a 4' x 8' sheet of 6mm "Sintra" will still give you a 98" diagonal surface.

Let me know where you hail from and I'll locate you a sheet for the best possible price.

Let me know what you suggest on dimensions that I need get a board cut.

Really appreciate your help. The info you have provided on the threads is awesome!
