Thanks Spaceman. Yes, the lights were on full brightness.

Thanks delta. I will have a 7.1 setup with surrounds and back surrounds. I may be able to set up heights in the future but my room is pretty small so I'm not sure that I could space things appropriately to get the full benefit from them.

Vanice,
Terrific results on the LEDs - lots of WOW, and a classy result!

Thanks cuzed! They do add a lot to the room. Very happy with the results. Now if only I can get a couple of panels up so I can get the full effect.

Thanks smckenzie. I really appreciate the kind words. Unfortunately progress is going to be a little slow for awhile but hopefully not stagnant. Thanks again for following along.

Spent about two hours in the theater last night finishing up the LED column lights. They are officially done! Sorry, no updated pics as I think I have shown about every angle possible with my point and shoot camera. This will probably be the last bit of work that gets done in the theater for awhile. We have something else coming very soon that will be taking up the vast majority of our time. biggrin.gif

Post 1000!

Thanks delta! Yes, expecting our first child this weekend if everything goes well. cool.gif

I will see what I can do about posting a few more pics. Probably won't be until Tuesday or Wednesday after we get settled back in at home... and get a little sleep if that's possible.

Vanice,

Congratulations on the baby!  If you are planning to take pictures after you get some sleep, it may be a very LONG time before we see anything wink.gif.

Just catching up on some threads this weekend and was really impressed with the end result of your planning and vision. And congratulations in advance with your new addition (you are beating my wife and I on this by about 4 weeks!). Very exciting stuff!!

True that. Thanks! Just going to have to fight through the lack of sleep. I don't do well when I don't get my sleep but I'm hoping my body will adjust. If not, it's going to be a rough couple of months/years. rolleyes.gif

Thanks TMcG! Hoping that the wall panels match my vision as well.

Congrats to you as well! We are about a week early. Very true, exciting but also very nerve-racking. Fingers crossed that he follows doctors orders and comes this weekend.

Not to burst your bubble, but if you think your "readjustment" only lasts a couple months/years you have a rude awaking! I have been waiting over 17 years for my life to get back to "normal" biggrin.gif Just kidding of course. Great work on the theater. Wishing you and the Mrs. all the best and I hope all goes well and the little one arrives "just as the Dr. ordered".

Good luck!

Congrats on your 1st !! I find the odd-numbered kids are the biggest adjustment. Number 1 is the loss of freedom to just pick up and go anytime. Number 3 is the switch from man-to-man coverage to a zone defence tongue.gif
