HT-CT150 Connecting to my PC

Have searched through dozen of threads but to no avail, my question is: How do I connect my Sony HT-CT150 to my PC?

My motherboard is ASUS P8Z68-V Pro which has an HDMI output.

I've tried connecting it to the TV/DVD/etc slots on the back of the subwoofer but no luck.

What am I doing wrong? Any tips? Many thanks!

If mods need to delete a thread, please delete my other one, I believe the soundbar section is more suitable

One thing you could try is setting your HDMI audio stream to PCM (as opposed to DTS or Dolby True HD or other similar advanced digital sound (formats?). That is something people with PS3 or Blueray players have been advised to try.

Does output from the PC work when you connect it directly to your TV? If it does, then you should be able to use any of the three HDMI inputs on the CT150.

I haven't had any luck with this soundbar, bought it specifically for PC-use only. So I'm not sure what kind of settings I have to adjust in order for it to work
