Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Just saw where this is coming to Charlotte tomorrow! I am so there. Ummm, gee, where to eat afterward.......?

I will say steak since there's no way you will find any sushi restaurant even close to Jiro's standard.

Perfection is the enemy of good, grasshopper.

I'm such a Philistine, the greatness of Jiro would probably be lost on me.

But I do love me some raw fish! And I've actually got a first class sushi restaurant nearby where we're regulars and the chef loves us - meaning, we get treated right. With sushi, that's pretty important.

I reviewed it a while ago and enjoyed it. He's an interesting man with incomparable work ethic. Worth watching, especially if you enjoy the food. Although, you'll have a massive craving after it's finished.
