48/60 fps future proofing possible?

As other movie buffs are surely aware, there is a push towards 48 fps, and now even 60 fps.

I might be forced to upgrade to a new projector due to the polarizer(s) on my PT-AX200 being burned, possibly worse. So, is there a current or announced projector which is future-proof in case 48 and/or 60 fps becomes a standard, or would I be forced to get a new projector?

I'm aware such movies are year(s) away from release. But since the projector is the most expensive part of my home theater setup I'd like to ensure that my next purchase lasts more than four frigging years.

Related, is there a technology that would likely have more lasting filters/LCD/other serviceable parts, than the pitiful 5000 hours I got from the AX200?

Many projectors accept 48 and 60 all ready. The new new standard is 72 and 120 frame rate. I do not know of any that accept these rates but many do output at this rate or higher.

Ah, great. DHL is picking up the patient today, and hopefully Panasonic will be able to fix it for a reasonable price so I don't have to buy a new one.

1080p content with 48fps might require new equipment, as most display can accept 24fps, 50fps or 60fps but often not 48fps.
1080p content with 60fps should work for the most and be future proof.
