Last I looked you can get refurbished BDP-93 players from OPPO. A good deal: same 30-day return and 1-year warranty as new.

The few times I've seen this happen with OPPO in the past 5 years (including their older DVD players), every time there's been one or more new models show up fairly soon (month or two?)
If anything I expected it to happen with the 95 first, since it has an internal fan and the 93 doesn't.
Count me as *eager* to see a new OPPO blu-ray player released SOON!

"There won't be any more brand-new BDP-93's.
We're anticipating a replacement model later this year, but we do not have a release date or any more details at this time.

1) Specs for the 93 replacement will be up within 2 weeks. The 95 replacement is still in the works, won't launch for several months, possibly into next year.
2) There will be a 93 replacement first, should be for sale in the month of OCT. The 95 replacement is still in being designed.
3) Full specs will be released in a couple of weeks on our website.

Went out to dinner tonight which included seeing the Oppo BDP-103 and BDP-105.
Haven't had time to post the details at our CEDIA blogs yet but I will soon.
You'll see nice changes like HDMI/MHL inputs for video processing, 1080p Netflix with 5.1 audio, and a 105 with USB. Optical, and Coaxial inputs to use the DAC for audio.
Time to write them up and post the really, really horrible pictures I have of them.
