Front Speaker pulled forward

Thread Starter
My setup consists of a Def Tech 8040 center speaker and Mythos on-wall speakers. Because of the size of my tv stand, I need to pull the front speaker forward in order to avoid the sound bouncing off the stand prior to reaching the MLP.

From the MLP, the on wall speakers are 10' and the Center is 8'6". I have this all programmed into my Denon AVR. Are there any issues I need to be aware of?

After you get the speakers set up where they work best, you need to set the delay (in milliseconds) for each speaker, assuming your receiver has those settings.
An example: your left and right front speakers measure eight feet from the listening area, and your center speaker measures 10 feet to the listening area. You would delay the center by one millisecond per foot, a total of two milliseconds. That will assure you that all speakers sound reach the listening position at the same time.
