What is your opinion of the 3D HDTV option after buying iy

I bought my last HDTV specifically for 3D tv, so if you waved your black wand and made it stop functioning, i would be very upset,

i only have about 9 3d blu rays right now, but i have fully enjoyed each and everyone of them, and plan to get more, i find the content enjoyable, i also find the 3d picture on my tv to be very well done, i have alg passive tv, and i wouldnt trade it for anything,

I have a 65" in the living, I have a 110" in the theater.

With Direct TV and 3D Bluray, my wife and I are up to about 5-6 hours per week on average in 3D. We would miss it very much.

PS: I was proud of my wife as we started ot watch the Rose Bowl parade in HD. She said I wonder if this is in 3D, badda bing badda boom, checked the guide and we were watching in 3D glory in no time flat.

I like to watch a lot of 2D to 3D conversion on my set. This LG DM2350 does an excellent job. However my wife and son would rather watch 2D. So I watch the 3D on the little TV while she watches 2D on the big TV. 3D is obviously not for everyone. To be fair my Mits 73" CRT-RPTV is very 3D like.

There was nothing wrong with my old HDTV and originally I wanted to buy smaller monitor for my daughter's Wii she got for x-mas. After checking the prices and thinking for about 5 sec, I decided I want to have 3D, since price difference is small, so my daughter got my old HDTV (such overkill for Wii) and we got shiny new 3D HDTV for living room. 3D is a novelty at the moment, but I bought this TV to last me hopefully for about next 5 yrs and I'm sure my 3D library will grow, so will 3D cable offerings (none at the moment) and I never looked back.
So yes, if it wasn't for 3D, 99% sure I would stick to original plan of purchasing small monitor and keeping old TV as main stay.

After buying what I have now, I wish I had the money for one of the laser or LED DLP HDTVs since they're crosstalk free.

I installed my first projector in my new construction basement three years ago. Did a 108" d.i.y. screen. It was an optoma hd65, 720p. I had a friend willing to buy it, had been thinking about upgrading to 1080p. I saw a few bb store demos of 3d, thought it looked a little "wierd" for lack of a better term. I wound up getting an optoma hd33 and a few pairs of dlp link glasses. I figured for the price I was still getting a very good 1080p pj and could return the glasses if 3d was not for me. I am keeping them. Watching a 3d movie on a big screen with a good quality 7.1 sound system is so much fun. No regrets

I bought my new tv mainly because of the 3d.I got a Mitsubishi Wd-73 640
Dlp diplays 3d very well ,better than lcd,and plasma.Literally no ghosting,or crosstalk.My opinion bigger the tv,the better your 3d experience will be.

Yeah, that's why I go see 3D at the movies.

We bought a 65" Samsung LED in 2010

The 3D was just a option on it at the time .....

Now..... we would never buy another TV without it.

Had my Panasonic 58" VT25 for over 13 months . . . love it. Just wish I could get DirecTV for more 3D content.

To me, 3D is like eating Sushi. My favorite food. I try to eat it once a week.

I have a 3D projector in my house along with 2 2D projectors. I only watch about 20% of 3D Blurays that I have mostly because of my 2 little children (who only like to watch toy-story in every room that they are in).

I had a 5year old 61" DLP and just this last month I decided it was time to upgrade before my next Super Bowl party. After looking at sets, I really liked Active 3D since I didnt think 3D was going to be so imporant, but I couldnt get a 65" set that fit in my limited space that was Passive, so I went Active, and got a Panny 65GT30. It had the best 2D i thought, and its 3D was nice. After mounting and watching our first couple movies in 3D, we love what it adds to a movie, the depth is fantastic, and when done right, the Pop is also excellent.. Sure, the glasses are kinda goofy looking, but the results are rather awesome and we love it. I still dont think 3D alone is enough to force people to upgrade their good TVs, but when buying a new TV, getting one with 3D is a no-brainer to me. I now want 3D tvs on all my big TVs.
