Question on Mitsubishi WD-62627

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and had a question on my Mitsubishi DLP WD-62627. There is a dark transparent line at the top of the screen, it is only about 1/8" on the top left and about 1 1/2" on the top right and goes the full width of the screen. It has been on there for several months now, and not sure why? I just replaced the lamp, as it fried a couple days ago and there is no change, other than the line seems more noticeable, I guess the new lamp is brighter or something. Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone knew what this was or how to fix it. I guess it could mean that she is on her last leg and I should start saving for a new one. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a picture, hopefully it help explain. Thanks

No ideas on this? Does anyone know where else I could go to post up the question. Thanks again.

Never seen light tunnel problems reported with any Mits, but you never know. If I had to guess, I would check the lens path behind the screen. Remove the screen and see if something has fallen into the projection area.

Thanks for the reply. Any tips on how to correctly remove the screen without causing any damage?
