NBC is supposed to have first pick for primetime. Then, the network from the conference they didn't choose gets to pick their game. The network from the conference NBC chooses gets stuck with the other game and NBC gets stuck with the other game from the conference they didn't choose.

That's my understanding and it may be entirely wrong.

Wow.... are they gonna do a split-screen, or some kind of a RedZone type thing?

As of yesterday, NBC is done with the playoffs until the Super Bowl. He's asking about next weekend, with FOX & CBS.

I think that statement applies here.

Reminds me of Ed Sullivan asking Jose Jimenez "Is that your crash helmet?"

Jose replies "Oh, I hope not....".

Steelers going to sacrifice the Denver Tebows, and I'm going to laugh.

I think the laughing has turned to shock and crying. Tebow Mania lives.

We are going to have a Stealer free super bowl this year. Its going to be great.

Time for NBC to re-run the Jesus-Tebow locker room skit. Loved the line about Brady (nephew of God) and Belichick (devil).
I've never been a fan of the evangelical athlete (Jesus/God has a 50% record every season; reason enough to be fired by most standards ), but I don't let that get in the way of rooting for Tebow. I love the underdog role. What his future holds remains to be seen, but he sure has created a lot of buzz and excitement. I'll take that any day.

Time to stop laughing. Is that yellow rag a crying towel?

The way we manhandled the Patriots in the regular season, it's a shame we got stuck with Denver in the first round.

When I get manhandled, I prefer for it to be by more than 25-17.

I ended up in hell because Tebow won. Now its a battle of two QBs I absolutely HATE.
To hell with it Go NINERS GO

I could understand hating Vick or Ben for their off-field offenses, but what did Tebow or Brady do to engender such hatred? Being good?

My hate for Brady is because he ALWAYS had the upper hand on the Steelers.
I wouldn't hate Tebow as much as do, but he made the #1 defense look like mud. Also for Ben I cannot hate Ben because he's the best QB Pittsburgh has had since Bradshaw.

If you saw the game, you know that it wasn't nearly as close as the score would indicate. Brady looked human.

I watched it. Pats weren't man-handled. They were definitely beaten though, but for having the worst D in the league they sure handled the Steeler offense pretty well. Not hard to make Brady look human. Just rush up the middle and watch him fold like a deck of cards.

the packers better take notice... this isnt the same Giants team... they are firing on all cylinders...

Upset pick for the weekend... Giants... plus because im a fan

Post season, the Steelers never once beat the Patriots on their 21st century SB runs. Pats defeated the Steelers post season having lost to them regular season. Steeler hubris is legion. Fanbase travels well. Thousands of tickets bought for Gillette suddenly went on EBay etc. following the loss to Denver. Last time Pats faced Denver post season they lost at Mile High.

When we had Bledsoe, I used to fear the Steelers. With Brady I don't. I prefer not to risk it in the playoffs, especially given our recent history of one-and-dones, but the Steelers don't really strike fear into Patriots fans. Our history against them over the past 10 or so years is very lopsided in our favor.
