There's a coupon code for $250 off the price of $549. I just placed an order for mine at $299 from newegg.

Do you guys think that price is worth an "impulse buy"? I have a crappy insignia 5.1 receiver that I would love to upgrade at some point, the issue is I don't need to upgrade it now as I only have two fronts and a sub. Seems like a great receiver and the price is right, but is it worth an early upgrade just to take advantage of this deal?

Whats the difference between the 1021 and 1121. is it worth the extra cash for the 1121

How do you get Amazon to price match?

I have seen Newegg open box deals and the pricing is impressive. However, I emailed them about open box deals and warranty and they said that there may/probably might not be any warranty coverage.

Also, you could well be missing parts such as the remote or microphone.

While I would definitely consider Newegg for a speaker open box deal, the thought of no warranty and/or missing parts on a receiver turns me off.

Other dealers do have full warranty and parts open boxer, admittedly at potentially higher prices.

Strange that it wouldn't have its original manufacturer warranty. Its open box, not a damaged return (supposedly). That means "new" just opened. If its missing the remote = an expensive piece of junk.
