Tripod needed for Pioneer calibration mic

I'm about to make some changes to my HT room which will require me to do the calibration again. I have never been able to find an appropriate tripod for the purpose of putting the mic in place of the listener position. Does anyone know where to find one that will work?

Nothing special about my tripod. I just rest the mic on the piece that usually secures to the camera. Thought about using double-sided tape, but it rested in place just fine through all the cals.

A repeatable fixed position is crucial to get valid measurements.
Some brands such as HK actually have a ISO screw mount on their microphones for tripod mounting.

Just my $.02...

As long as the tripod head is level, there's no need to actually screw the mike onto the tripod. You can use a stack of books/boxes (or just about anything you can think of) to get close to the height you want, then something with a slimmer profile for the final length supporting the mic (so that it has some clear space around it), like a can of pringles.

The mic that came with my old 1015 had the threaded insert for securing to a tripod. The mics included with my 01 and 03 just have a slot cut into the bottom. Nothing to screw into.

Yeah, I just used my camera tripod for mine. The advantage of a tripod is that you can move it and the mic quickly to the next spot, but anything that will hold the mic steady and high enough will work. Like a stepladder or something.
