Thanks for posting, I haven't read that review before. It's a good perspective on this projectors primary strength. It's a shame the reviewer didn't get to enjoy the Sharp G20 glasses, imo they are much better than the glasses it ships with. They also sync to the IR signal better than the G10's in my room.
For those that like the 3D performance of this projector, I think the next major step would be in a much different price category. This is the one I would be checking out next:
Runco XtremeProjection X-200i
it has the 3 pin VESA output and uses the monster vision / Optoma RF transmitter. At 15K MSRP you're going to have to really like 3D...
I saw one on ebay go for around 8K but still above the impulse buy despite my affinity for 3D DLP.
After that, sim 2 lumis 3D Solo is next.
For now, I'll suffer along with this $1799 3D processing machine...
