Will Best Buy match online prices, including local sales tax and delivery, or do they tack those items onto the match price?

This is exactly what I did this morning. I did the check out and printed it for BB to price match. The manager didn't even blink, PM the price but of course, I will have to pay tax. I did that anyway just so I have local BB to deal with and take advantage of their 36m financing. Delivery on coming Saturday, can't wait!

PS. Shipping is free, so it is just $3697 + tax.

It really depends on the management at your local Best Buy.

Some are flexible and will match online prices and others follow Best Buy's "official " restrictive policy to the letter:

Is that the final price @ checkout ? . Because if it's the posted 1st page price the checkout is always lower ..

I just called US Appliance, they actually quoted $4,497 delivered, including 2 pairs of 3d glasses, and A Sharp 3D BLU RAY PLAYER (this is something relatively new)

• FREE BDAMS20 Blu-Ray Player ($149 Value)
• 2 FREE Pairs of Rechargeable 3D Glasses (model AN3DG20B x 2) ($118 Value)
• Offer ends August 11th, 2012. Not valid on prior orders.
• These free items will automatically appear on your invoice once the order has been processed.
.

In order to get to the real price on US Appliance, you can either call 1 877 628 9913, or add to cart and fill out the forms all the way to the last page to see the ACTUAL price.biggrin.gif

So overall people's experience from them seems hit or miss right? Their delivery is curbside and box only right?

I'm debating between the Samsung UN65ES8000FXZA and the Sharp LC-80LE844U. Pricing aside... Any comments. No flames please... Just want to know how you guys feel about your set. I have the space for the 80 inch thats not an issue. i wont have complete control of light as there are quite a few windows in the room. the Tv will be on a wall appox 15 feet or so to the seating area...

Do they charge tax on top of this price? Are there any special coupon codes that one has to use at checkout?
I tried getting the price at us appliance as well and was unsuccessful online. Best Buy is willing to match the price for me in Westchester but i can't get this price to show anywhere. Anyone successful, please provide exact details. Thanks.

no tax

price only comes up at final checkout, after credit card information has been input, at the final screen where you confirm the purchase.
if it doesnt work, you can always call in.

Sales Tax is charged ONLY if the customers ship to address is in the state of Michigan.
There are NO coupon codes. You simply add the item(s) to your cart, fill in the data on the forms, and on the last page, it show a "Discount:" ' to reduce the selling price to the actual amount. You do not need to add the 3D glasses and the BluRay player to your cart, those items will be added by the system to your final invoice (assuming you are ordering the 844).

One more time. Add the TV to your cart. Check out. Fill out the forms including your credit card number and the related CVV number. Then on the VERY LAST PAGE, you will see that they post a "Discount:" amount. This discount will reduce the price from the price posted on the web site to the price that they are actually selling the set for. At this point, you can print the order form, and if you wish to, you can CLICK ON THE SUBMIT ORDER BUTTON, which makes it A REAL LIVE ORDER, and your credit card will be charged, and in due course, you will receive your new TV delivered to your ship to address. If you do not click on the Submit order button, it is a pro forma order, and will not be executed.

If the TV set you wnat to buy is NOT IN STOCK, you must call US APPLIANCE at 1 877 628 9913 between the hours of 8am and 6pm EST/EDT. They will take your order over the phone, and will reserve a set just for you out of the next shipment, that they receive.

Here is what I did to PM in BB here in NJ. Go through US appliance check out until you see the final/sale price. Print this as a PDF, then print a copy (or send it to your smart phone) and show this to BB manager. Explain to them that you need to input CC info to show the final price. Good luck!
yea just hope your bb is willing to discount to that price not all of them will do it of course
