Sharp 80" pricing - Page 50

So is all this price fluctuation because of the new visio m?

If I could get a 844 for 3K delivered with 0% financing for 36-24 months, I would buy one today. I have not seen that good a deal anywhere.

Yea definitely get a 80 inch now lc80le632u lc80le633u or the lc80le844u full array or you will be left with the edge lit mess a step backwards all to save cost and make a thinner panel. The only place I know that finances sharp is conns they were selling 844u for 3997 and 632u for 3306 3 yrs fixed rate but as with all these companies once they are gone they are gone me and my friend got one of each model I'm just happy to actually say I gotta 80 what!!

when you mention $3k - $3.5K. Are you talking about a brand new or open boxes?

I made put in the middle between 3 and 3k. Bit considered 24 months and free delivery the driving factor and in the case of delivery icing on the cake.

ok so best buy local shows an open box for $3500. I suppose being OpenBox i should negotiate it some more?

I don't see what the big deal is get that floor model and save tons of cash. Here is the deal check the serial number to make sure it has not been registered if it is dont buy it if it has not buy it and put a 3 year warranty on it and it comes with a one year off top from buying it if something goes wrong they come out and fix it if not it gets replaced now you might get upgraded to new edge lit version you might keep your full array. Lol i got these models as for the full array and size i see to many issues with edgelit no local dimming got two floor models 844u and 623u both have 4 yrs of warranty and both are strong and perfectly fine. You need to get one now before they are cleared out and registered. Had conns had two in the box they were gonna be a higher price

Here video I took of original prices

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRwapATds30

Got both floors for 3360 for 632u. And 3997 for the 844u

Keep in mind both models are discontinued now
post #1479 of 1603
Also bear in mind once these are gone and you want full array I guess that means you getting a sharp 90 inch I suppose you have 7500 avg or 9999 for new version lol put it on cc

He'll no don't do that haaa but I know some have
post #1480 of 1603
Correction on the 632u price meant to say 3329 tongue.gif

Edge lit with no local dimming to be found pass on that good low price point if you can't find a original or don't want to overpay I suppose

Also, is there is a difference between the costco model for the 844U and the 844U you buy at Best Buy? Or is exact same TV, just a different number?
Usually those are club models that come with extra stuff like more or less 3d glasses or a mount type deal the tv is essentially the same
post #1486 of 1603
i might be wrong, but the 844u might be the exception at the clubs. No glasses included. wink.gif

2012 Brilliance in Sharp Marketing:

Lets charge an MSRP of $5499.00 w/ no 3D specs included (LC80-LE844U) AND with our 70" Quattron (LC70-LE847U) we will include 2 pairs of them for $3299.00

It wasn't a comment towards retailers, it was about Sharp's marketing. What were they thinking?

Sharp supported a promotion for 2 free pairs of glasses for basically the entire life of this model. Any authorized dealer should have had access to this promotion. They chose to do this so that should glasses inventory run out, they wouldn't have to hold up the TV production line. This was an issue they had in years prior. Since the 80" is produced more sporadically, they cannot afford to hold the line waiting for glasses. Just some insight you may not have been aware of.
