Wow, that is a long time. Mine was picked up on Monday. I live in MD and was hoping to get it by Friday. So I guess I can temper my enthusiasm.

I am actually tracking it with the invoice. HomeDirectUSA still only shows it as picked up on Monday, no other updates. It sucks to be so impatient.

Yeah the tracking page will Not show anything until it arrives @ your local hub

but then agin the Great price makes up for it ( at least that's how I felt ).
This set is amazing , Nice Blacks ! still even have not applied any setting as of yet......
the day was about humping around furniture , then humping my Huge speakers around & laying all new speaker wire ,rewire everything ( my back hurts now! )

Can't decide if I want a Pro-Cal ..OR buy the equipment to do it myself

HMMMmm......

thinking I might get a Video processor later down the line as well .. so have the Equipment to do Cal's might be better , always was interested in doing my own ..

L O L .... as close as I sit this set is about the full degree of total immersion Now ! .

One thing I will say the local theater will not see my butt in their seats ever agin ,I kid you not
I had the Home Theater 9.2 audio sound down to a Art & now I have the 632 80" display & that is " The Icing on the Cake " In the La Casa Slappy .
3D just don't work for me ,I hate the glasses & after a few hours I get a headache.
This set has a real depth to the image .
I had to laugh , my wife got all pissy when she made her dinner that I hadn't finished the audio rewire yet & she had to eat her dinner in the bedroom to watch her shows L O L

Alright, see what you guys have done. We saw this thing at Fry's a few weeks ago (we were actually going to look at the 70, but my wife found the 80 there next to it). I let slip today that I had been following the price talk on this thread and what US Appliance was running it for.

She asked me for the address and now we're expecting it some time next week

We went ahead and sprung for the "white glove delivery". My wife works from home, so she's not going to want to wait for me to come home and figure out how to get the thing out of the box and on our stand. With deal, I figure it worth it.

Yeah I don't blame Ya for that ! It is Huge , I was nervous myself with just me & a buddy putting on the mount ...
Mine is all dialed in now( Stunning ,Jaw Dropping) Finally found how to get dot by dot , got the Blu-Ray player & HTPC up & running W7 as a desktop is Awesome! BEST part of the HTPC is now I can read the text from the recliner with No Problem , with the 60" the text was just a little too small , Now with the 632 80" it's great !

Got one! US appliance, for the amazing price thats only realized when you get to order conformation...Should be getting delivery next week.....its shipping from Michigan and coming here to Wisconsin....Buying this beast site unseen as it wasnt available for viewing in my area....hope you all prove im the mastermind I think I am for buying this pixel pleasure palace.... Waiting....

Yes, I am sure the good people at CP will do you right on the price.

If you want to buy local (and live in chicago) Carl Prouty at ABT is fantastic (and so is the estimated price). I can't tell you how much stuff they have come out and taken back

So far ABT does NOT KNOW if Sharp is including the 3D glasses as with the other 2012 sets - it is NOT listed on their sheets.

I wonder is they will ever get them "in stock" again ??
Rumors are they will not ... but no facts Yet on the demise of the 632 80"
US Appliance had 60 of them & they sold quite well @ $ 3,697.oo for about a week !

Suzook is right there are NO FACTS that the 632 80" will cease production ....
Rumors are rumors = some play out some don't !
but one fact is Sharp is replacing a 632 80" defective display(blob & un-even screen defect) with a 844 here @ One AVS's member who posted about it just last week .
If US Appliance gets more in stock then that will be a Good sign that the 632 80" will continue production .

Ok BUT that member assumed the 2012 model would be the 844.....call me crazy but its been a long time since ive heard a company proactively upgrade to a model with a fairly higher msrp

But I hope this is one of those cases!!!

Yeah xRUSTYx did say he was getting a 2012 BUT he didn't say he was getting a 844 for sure , an assumption was made that it was a 844
And we know what " assume " means L O L .
I hope he gets a 844 as well ..... but we'll just have wait & see .

I do know of when I got my 60" 88UM 2 years ago they were replacing that model with 810UM's when a 88UM went bad , but that proved to be a bad deal as the 810UM was the 1st Sharp edge lit LED's , there were issues with that model .
I Just might get to be a ass now L O L !

I've been following the owners and this thread and finally convinced the wife it was time to upgrade. Just sold the jvc 70 incher and started looking. Local HH wants 4200 and change. CP will deliver for 4k. USA is out of stock.
I did see it for 3300 from ecraters, but never heard of them and there were no ratings, so I'm gun shy.
Where else should I look? No BB magnolo stores within reasonable driving distance.

You can call in and place an order with us. Stock coming in two three weeks. Dont pay more or order from an unknown

Boy, I must have got the last one US had in stock last week....all this talk about them being out of stock makes me wonder if I really did get one of the last ones....ordered last monday and its being delivered tomorrow....cant wait! I will post pics!

FWIW Sharp website now has a pdf file containing the operations manual for the LC-80le633u. You can find (surprisingly) w\\if you search for the low end 2012 70 inch sets. They have combined manuals apparently. Any one else notice this??

the spec page shows the 633 80" to be 9 pounds lighter than a 632
