Samsung Plasma 3D - can't set top / bottom

When I want to watch ESPN 3D which is top / bottom format, I go to the menu to select that 3D setting and the only option available is the 2D to 3D option. None of the other are accessible. I was able to get to these before.

Can someone help me? Please.

Don't know if my 8yo changed a setting or something. It's a Samsung 50 inch plazma about a year old.

Hmm. U might want to check settings. I just bought a D550 and when I go to espn 3D I get the side by side pic and all my options are there when I hit the 3D button. Not that it helps but I use Directv Milwaukee WI area.

Ps. The national championship looks great! :-)

Who's your provider and how are you connected (through what equipment)? D* uses 1080i SbS for ESPN. Your Samsung should detect the proper signal automatically.

Thanks guys. I have comcast for cable. The ESPN channel comes in great its a top / bottom format. But when I got to select that format from 3D options ... they are "grey" and not accessible. I tried unplugging the box. I've seen other posts with this problem ... but no answers. I was hoping it was a settings thing. Dang.

Any other thoughts.

How are you set up? Are you going straight to the TV from the cable box? Running through a receiver (which one), and I'm sure you're using HDMI.

Yes, I don't have a receiver only a blu-ray player, so I think it goes straight to the TV from the cable box, I'll have to check. Since I'm getting the ESPN 3D channel ok, would it not have to be a TV setting problem? Yes, I'm using HDMI.

Hmmm ... it worked before... very frustrating.

If I figure it out I'll post an answer here.

hello every body i just buyt the epson eh-tw6100 full hd 3d projector
yesterday i hookt my pc on it and i downloaded a full bluray 3d movie avatar
the movie was top bottom 3d you saw the molvie twice above ethather
but not 3d so i went to the settings of my beamer and chanced that to top to botom but when i did that

you saw the good 3d for like 2 sec then it went black and after a few more you saw it movie again for a few sec and so it whent on

how can i fix that?
