Did you investigate the Sharp site for the specs? No, it doesn't.

I did. It has the required refresh rate and HDMI inputs. I know the TV does not have a 3D mode/setting. I was hoping that the Monoprice 3D converter (or similar) might work. But guess not.

That's a different question. Yes there are devices for 120Hz TVs that will simulate 3D. Look in the components forum.

Are you planning to buy this TV or do you already have it? If you're planning on buying a TV - DEFINITELY buy a TV with 3D. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy a TV and then buy some crappy converter.

Already got it. We wanted a new TV. the wife picked it up at Costco (on sale) and to surprise me, had it hung when i was out of town. We've had it for to long now to return in.

Is there a better converter then another or do they all pretty much suck?
