I can run Pandora for hours at a stint...no issues (I constantly switch between my 8 radio stations when I listen so I don't have to burn 'skips').
When using Netflix, I can usually get about 20 minutes into one selection. I will invariably lose lip-sync about 3 minutes in. Then, if I pause or scrub in any direction, I will get a stalled loading-progress-bar....which also never fails to turn into a Netflix error stating that this title is 'currently unavailable' and advising that I should try again later or simply play another title.
I then get this same error with EVERY OTHER TITLE I attempt to play. This then culminates in a fatal netflix error stating my network connection has failed.
The overall Netflix interface is also VERY sluggish.
After backing out completely and going into the network settings, my '500s network connection is left in the 'connecting' state until I physically remove the power cord from the back. Restarts did not help. Factory Default reset also did not help.
I completed the above cycle approximately 8 times between yesterday and today. Gonna contact Panasonic ASAP.
Anybody else having these issues?
NOTE: My Vizio TV with internal VIA app and Netflix interface (and wireless network connection) still works FLAWLESSLY with Netflix. I run a BrightHouse 40mbit (routinely tested) cable internet connection....so speed isn't an issue here. I was also able to stream dlna content from my W7 64bit laptop in 1080p without issue, so the speed of the wireless connection to the Panny '500 does not appear to be an issue either.
