some calibrators set "black tone" to OFF on the 2011 D8000 model...
try OFF and keep us updated






















The plasma sets from 5 years ago claimed true-black (whatever that means) the bigger issue was dull whites. I'm kinda surprised at this point most folks aren't more concerned about whites.
