Panasonic P42s2 10 blink error fix?

I am new and need some help finding out what replacement parts I need for a 10 blink power light error on a Panonsonic P42s2 Plasma Flat screen and direction as to where to find a service manual if one is needed. From some of the posts I have read most of the parts are simply plugged in not soldered. I had the TV for 14 months before it just stopped working and its been sitting the last 5 months for me to figure out what to do with it. Please help! Thanks!!

Just got my P42U2 back from repair. ( warranty ) It was the SC board. Service manual, however, for 10 blinks, lists 4 boards to check; A, SC, SS & P boards. Suspect you'll find the same for 'S' unit.

I also just had the 10 blinks of death. Repaired under warranty last week and it was the SC board also. Repair guy said it was the most common part that went on these.

Thanks for the useful info! I bought the Repair manual online and it really does not tell how to determine which one of the four components is bad. Anyone out there have an idea of how to tell? Also does any one know if there is a suffix at the end of the part number for the SC Board or doesn't it matter. I have read posts on other models where the suffix matters but the part numbers online do show any suffixe for these. Maybe I sould just roll the dice and buy the SC card.

For our repair the receipt listed the part# TXNSC1LHUU for SC Board and part# TXNSC11DEK for Sub.

Not sure why you bought the service manual when the links I provided above were available for free.

Anyway, the technical guide link provided will give you troubleshooting steps to determine which board is defective.
