Well, That certainly justifies why I choose not to watch the Fox pregame on a weekly basis.

The 'Hello' bit? Yes. I thought the 3 Stooges had turned into 4.

TWC in Troy, NY.

Pregame being shown in 720p. Typically gorgeous PQ from local Fox affiliate. No artifacting.

FOX had an interview on the field with Tony Siragusa & one of the Saints (wide receiver?). Both said it looked very good to them, and the field will not be a factor.

Yea, Almost as funny as that Google commercial. WTF?

Thank God that's over. #pathetic

Viewing WJBK-DT FOX Detroit, OTA & Comcast.

Although this is the FOX 'B' broadcast team, they brought their 'A' game today. Looks and sounds as good as I've ever seen FOX, in other words great.

Little artifacts even with the grass. The only thing I can see is some shimmering and minor breakup of the on field graphic for down and yards to go.

Color is good. Other than that, usual mosquito noise, compression artifacts and softness from FOX. Watching KMSP OTA in Minneapolis.

Close ups are good. Anything with any distance is soft.

Just saw some swimming grass on the Skycam shot.

There is some frickin hittin goin on in this one.

Had 1 freeze glitch so far. Other than that, OK broadcast. I don't hear much surround activity. KTVU Oakland via Comcast.

Niners!

The NFL DIVISIONAL FOX graphic is so unnecessary.
Even worse that it's placed in 4:3 safety.
That graphic should be at the top of the score box.
Bloody door to door salesmen. One just knocked on my door as the Niners score 1st so I missed the TD!

Justifiable homicide.

Three turnovers in the first quarter? That's one way to lose a ball game.

You don't know how much i despise teams like these! Fancypants high flying passing teams that think they are the ____!! I hated the Rams and wanted the Pats to beat them in that SB, i already hate the Raiders but even more so when they were a dink and dunk passing team in the Super Bowl. I wanted the Bucs to punch um right in the mouth with that defense and they did. Sadly the NFL has become more and more like this so it's nice to see a more old school 9er team, punch those Saints right in the mouth son!

Faux DD surround here on TWC in Troy, NY.

Nothing coming out of LR or RR which would typically be crowd noise. I'm sure the rears will be firing for the Giants/Packers game tomorrow.

Can't they move the camera over just a titch when they show Goose? I don't listen to him anyway and it would make watching him much more pleasurable.

Neither of these teams thinks they are the ____. Both are pretty well grounded.

Further, what do you have against a passing offense? It's been a major part of the game since the 1920's; isn't that old school enough for you?

I respect any team that can develop a dominant offense or defense; it's just good football.

You have a problem with your local FOX station (very unlikely due to how FOX distributes HD), your provider TWC (more likely), or your set up (you tell me).

FOX HD
Charter Cable
WLAX Fox 25/48
La Crosse, WI

Picture looks pretty good...FOX here is always probably bottom of the pile of the national networks in HD PQ. The placement of the scoreboard and the Divisional FOX logo is super annoying.

As for who I want to win...whoever the Packers can beat in the next round!!

Not much out of my surrounds either. Calibrated surround sound.

Probably both of them. Of course, the Packers have to get by New York, first.

Running toslink from the cable box to the AVR. The AVR displays DD as the audio signal type. The AVR and speakers were recalibrated last week so its not a speaker level issue. Switched to another channel (Palladia) and the surrounds are firing just fine.
