Hi all,

I have a samsung led ue46c7700. While i was wiping the screen with a wet cloth,
water must have seep in, and now half the screen is demage. There is a layer of color
appearing on one side of it.

I will like to know which component of the led is damaged?
is it to costly to get it fix?

thanks alot

I am pretty sure that is not water damage but some sort of chip failure. Replacing the approperiate board will fix that..

Turn the set off for a few days and turn it back on.

The eletronics that drive that set are behind the LCD......

I agree with the other poster as there is no way a wet cloth would cause anything like that to happen. Is it still under warranty? If not then try a reset by unplugging for 30 minutes and then seeing what happens. You can also try leaving it unplugged overnight as well. Good luck and keep us posted.
