The latest semiofficial firmware has the SRJG jukebox included which is really easy to build and update (it does have search function).
The other option is to use the AIOS local media library indexing functions (which supports sorting and searching), but that requires the media to be local to AIOS (internal/external HDD) there is a workaround for that which requires linking your media folders over the network on the the AIOS local storage formatted in ext3 (its not really that hard and there is a detailed guide for that on the AIOS forums).

How is scrapping done is not important, what just matters is that the resulting files would match the requirements of the jukebox builder (in case of the latest jukebox it would be name.jpg, name_sheet.jpg and name.nfo)
once a compatible wifi is installed you can connect to your wifi network for local and internet streaming (just like a using a wire).
That said, wifi (as with most similar devices) is YMMV depending on your specific setup, typically you should be able to get your SD contents and low bit rate 720p rips streamed without issues over wifi.

There is no Mede8er build for the AIOS, I meant the XtrAIOS.
The Semiofficial builds are based on the official ones, so its not exactly hacked, but more of "enriched"

There is many variables involved, for example, even if you have an N adapter, your router will fall automatically to G speeds whenever a G device connect to your network (when router is operating in "mixed mode"), there is also interference with other wifi networks and other wireless devices running in the 2.4Ghz band.

I personally think a wire is the way to go, that said, there is have been several success stories regarding HD streaming on wifi, most concrete ones involved using a wire to a WIFI AP instead of using the USB wifi adapter. Using a WIFI AP you can go as fancy as you want (set up a 5.8Ghz band N network only for fastest and most reliable connection)

Yup .. thats the latest unofficial, though I would encourage you to try the latest semiofficial one (R20), the semiofficial releases are the ones I work on

There is no Pandora module on R20 (not non of XtrAIOS IIRC), its shoutcast.
flv should be played locally without a problem, YT-SD module was removed because its no longer supported by google API, but there is the YT-XL module which is HTML5 based and works fine for both SD and HD YT contents.
