HDMI Output on a Pioneer VSX74TXVi

The HDMI output on my Pioneer Elite went out a few days ago. I've had it for around 2 years and I'm wondering if it is possible to change the HDMI board in the receiver. I know how to set up surround sound, but not a thing about fixing it. Anyone smarter than me wiling to help?

it's possible, but not worth it... unless you can possibly find a hdmi board for cheap...

a new one? likely more than the avr is worth. you are better off buying a new unit...

only real cost effective way to do it would be to find another 74 that was otherwise broken for cheap and cannibalize the board out of it...
