Are you saying those prices you listed are EPP pricing? Because they look more like retail. Just trying to clarify.

As I said, sonystyle EPP are generally not the best prices, but a decent barometer on sale (retail) pricing you can expect to see.

For example, right now Best Buy has the 55HX729 on sale for $1,899. Sonystyle EPP pricing has it on sale for $1,499. Thus, you know that the going rate for that TV should be in the $1,500 ballpark right now. Maybe through Vanns or some other site. Run, don't walk, away from Best Buy's "sale" price.

That's all. Just gives people a stake in the sand on how to evaluate pricing. If you can get a TV direct from Sony for $1,500, why would you pay more somewhere else?

I agree.

It's just i'm interested in getting the 65HX929 and when i saw the price you posted of $5,399 i'm thinking that's retail/list price and not even close to EPP.

Do you know what's the EPP pricing for that specific model is?

$5,399 is the price for the 65" 929. I just checked on my EPP site.

Just to clarify. As the title of this thread states, this is the Sony Corporate Perks EPP Pricing. What I posted above is the current Sony Corporate Perks EPP Pricing. Some prices/sales are better than others.

In other words the Sony Corporate Perks EPP Pricing and list price for the 65HX929 are both the same(hence not currently being discounted).

Updated pricing today (1/24). Not much has changed. The 55HX929 has come down to Black Friday pricing and the 55EX720 is now in line with other pricing ... though I still don't know why you'd opt for that over spending $60 to get the HX729.

I didn't check the <55" TVs.
