The Submersive is the one that has the cup filled with pink liquid on it. We had to keep telling Sanjay it was not a coffee table and to put his wine cooler elsewhere.

I don't think it is anal to want consistency with placement, level and demo material. Completely reasonable to want to minimize those variables so that any differences we heard would have been due to the subs only. But that can sometimes result in such a formal/rigid get togethers that it stops being fun. And this meet was fun. Like you said, we were having too good of a time to worry much about the other stuff. Maybe some time in the future, if we have fewer subs.

If things work out I'll be ordering clone #2 this week. You're more than welcome to come over for a demo. Maybe we can talk Chayne into bringing his Submersive and we'll do a one on one comparison.

Yep, let's do it. Just say the word.

Has more output than rythmik fall short of subm and lms. Midbass is exceptional. Sq quality is about the same as everything else because we did not max any sub. I'm very happy with the music aspect of the jbl.

Sure thing. I'm by no means an expert, but I'll help with what I can.

If you have room I'm in as well. I'd love to hear the Seaton again.

Sounds like we've just volunteered Eric to be the next gtg host.

Lol. Wish I could bro. I just don't have the room to host a GTG. A few of us won't be a problem, but anything more than that would be too crowded I think.

I'm in the same boat. All I can do is private screenings of 2 or 3 people max. My room is a sealed 16' x 18' with literally one couch for seating. I suppose I can squeeze in a couple more chairs, but it would definitely be an intimate setting at that point. The rest of the space is taken by 7 tower speakers, and five subs. If I hosted a gtg everyone else would have to stand outside somewhere or wait in their cars as I'm still in remodeling mode at my house.

Apparently I failed basic math classes. I only have 6 towers, not 7.

Main LCR are Revel Performa F52/C52. The two wide and two rear channels are Infinity Primus P363. The side surrounds are Revel S30s.

Subs are DIY TC Sounds LMS Ultra-5400 x2 each in its own sealed 3.5 ft^3 box powered by a QSC RMX-5050 amp, Revel B15A and two DIY JL Audio F110 clones powered by a Behringer EPX4000 amp.

It is running in stereo. One LMS/channel. It will be replaced with the LG clone once I get my subpanel installed.

I would do it again if we can get some ribbons speakers to attend. I find myself listen to more and more music everyday. I really want to know what a good ribbon design sounds like. I'm so on the fence on this one http://techtalk.parts-express.com/sh...d.php?t=231628 or ascend ribbon towers or philharmonic but wallet can't handle the prices.

Hi Sanjay
Looking to pop in on Saturday for a bit. Should be loads of fun.
Same here. Planning on showing up sometime on Saturday.
I'll be there. While we didn't get the shootout we had hoped for arranged, I will note that we will have a couple of subs in attendance that I'll bet most of you haven't heard before. If you crave multichannel and subsonics, definitely visit Atrium Room 220.

Ok man, spill the beans! What subs?
Haha, I thought that would get some attention. We'll have a sub (or 2?) from Zu Audio. I'm not actually totally sure if it's the discontinued Method or something new they are working on. (I didn't make the arrangements) Either way, it should be very loud and cool looking.

Too bad it's not Friday. A bunch of us in the home theatre meets thread were planning on connecting on the first day of the show.
