How do you like them compare to the conquest?

I like them more. The output is similar, maybe a tad less, but the SQ and extension are MUCH MUCH better. And thats that they're not even broken in yet. Im sure things will improve more with time.

When I decided to go the DIY route I planned on building 4 of these, so thats still the goal. Im hoping i'll have the other pair in about 6 months or so.

EDIT: Now that I've had these for a few weeks now I can honestly say, output is not a problem! Guess a little break-in time and (especially) getting setup correctly really helped.

Make this happen guys! I want to read about it!
Here are some more members to invite from CA - if you need to get the ball rolling.

If I can talk one of the other local enthusiast into grabbing a reasonably priced flight - I might be interested in showing up too as there are some subs I haven't heard - Rythmik 15HP, Outlaw, LMS-5400, ect --- and CA is such a beautiful state. You guys are lucky to live there! I can't commit yet without any of the specific date ironed out and I'm planning on attending a speaker meet in Wisconsin in april so the wife might ban me from attending another one - but these things are such a blast it's hard to stay away.

I'm interested. I can bring my MFW15 if anyone wants to listen to it.
I want to upgrade so this is a good opportunity for me to listen to some subs I'm looking to purchase.

Depending on the date, I've got a pair of DIY sealed LMS 5400s if someone has the power for them. Need to figure out how to get them there though.

LOL! Not sure if I can make it yet. Date dependent and if I can find a vehicle to transport it. That and someone to help me carry them out of my house.

I would like to hear what someone else's build sounds like too though. Something to compare mine to.

I'm not sure how easy it would be, but PBN Audio is located in San Diego, and we may be able to get one of their subs (http://www.pbnaudio.com/speakers/mon.../ssw-subwoofer). I've never heard them, and they're quite expensive, but it may be worth a try.

If Mark gets back to me in time I might have a SubM HP and my Ed A5-350 to bring along.

May is approaching people, lets settle a date soon, preferably saturday or sunday. I'm hoping someone can bring a subM, i have read so much about it. If someone can bring one, that will be the reference sub. I'm thinking may 19 or 26.

I vote for the 19th since I won't be able to make it on the 26th.
