Anyone has experience with the network adapters that plug into the AC outlet to be used instead of pulling CAT5 cables?

I don't, but a couple of friend have them, and they work fine. However, they've got newer houses built in 2009 I believe. My house was built in the 80's so I don't really trust my electrical wiring due to having some issues with it in the first place. An electrician had to come out to rewire a section of the house due to shorts.

The only time that the POE adapters do not work, is when the house has a bunch of MWBC (Multi-wire branch circuits) through out the house. Houses built in the 80's tend to have more than those that have been built in the later years. Reason was that it saved on wire, same thing with Switch legs.
