I am strangely tempted to buy another 4311 to replace an AVR-5800 in the bedroom. Must. Resist.

Got ups confirmation to receive tomorrow. That is quick. I am in Southampton N.Y. It is coming from N.J. I have been following this since the thread first began. It is great that others got this at lower prices on various deals, but factory warranty, made in Japan, etc just spoke to me at 1240. Feel lucky, thanks to all the guys who stay on top of these things.

Well, the Best Buys near you are certainly different than the ones near me. There's NO way they would ever match a price from an internet retailer.

Also, what's with the 42 days? I was just told that it was 30 days.

I believe that for Silver Rewards Zone Members the price match is 60 days now Congrats on getting them to match that Bill Mac, my non Magnolia store offered to order it and match it as well, the Magnolia location would not budge, go figure. In the end I opted to save on the tax through EE.

Electronics Expo has six stores in NJ. So they are not just an internet retailer. I think Best Buy and Magnolia price matching varies quite a bit from store to store. As far as I know my local BB price matches prices from Amazon. But I have never tried this though.

I am a Reward Zone Silver member and I believe it entitles me to 45 day price match protection. I just checked my Reward Zone account and it says I have "45-day extended return policy". I'll have to check to see if that also means price match protection as well. I guess if within the 45 days BB would not price match from a qualified retailer you could return the item and buy it for the cheaper price.


Thanks. If the Magnolia store near me had not price matched the EE price it would have been a no brainer to order it from EE. Especially when there is no sales tax.

I talked BB down to 1600 or so...ordered from EE over the phone while at lunch right after.

I would have happily paid tax to have it in hand...but not $500 more.

tried a couple of authorized etailers but no one would come close to EE GRANDSLAM price...I am going to try a couple more tomorrow now that the 3313 specs are out.

Ordered from EE on Tuesday AM when they had in stock status showing online.
It was delivered on Wednesday PM by UPS. Very fast turnaround time.
Double boxed and packed quite well. This is my first purchase from EE and I am very happy so far.
Now the fun begins to learn how to use this thing .......

Monday I tried the GRANDSLAM code at EE, but only showed list price. I called and spoke to Frantz 151 and he said $1299. I said OK and ordered a 4311ci. The next day I got a call from Frantz and he said he realized there was a lower price and I would pay $1,238. I had mentioned that I found out about EE & himself from this thread on AVSForum which pleased him.

This gives me positive view of EE. I also want to thank all the folks on this forum. You are providing an invaluable service.

Yes, EE is good to do business with. My first order with them was a Panasonic BDP-320 blu-ray player that was not shipped double boxed. I wrote and expressed my concern, two weeks later I received a very nice response and a generous credit.
They will be my first choice for electronics purchases.

Spoke to Frantz and finally pulled the trigger this afternoon - $1238.

Just put my pre order in with David x156. Most knowledgeable e-tailer sales guy I've ever talked to.

He did mention that the 4311ci has been near this price for some time so it's likely to continue.

I joined the 4311ci club also today, place order with Jason @ EE. I still need to buy my projector (HW30AES), 100" SI performance screen, and 4 in-ceiling surround speakers, and a HSU vtf15 subwoofer. I have my L/C/R Klipsch KLF-20's and RC3 center and I thank you guys for this info. I am sure I will be thanking more people/products when I get my HT room done.

Are these deals at EE open box for the prices discussed or are they new? I ask becasue I'm seeing $2098 for new and the lower price for an open box item.
Additionally: I just want to be sure, is EE and authorized Denon dealer?

New and EE is an Authorized Denon dealer.

AFAIK, these are new units being pre-ordered, the caveat is that we are using GRANDSLAM in the coupon/discount code when we order the 4311ci. EE is listed as an authorized online retailer, per DENON company website.
