Additionally: I just want to be sure, is EE and authorized Denon dealer?

since they are out of stock, you have to call and verbally tell them you want to use the code GRANDSLAM.

I ordered one from them last week for $1299 plus taxes and shipping. I called them and told them someone I know got this price (which was true) and they said sure we can do that price. It arrived a few days ago brand new unopened box and they are an authorized dealer according to Denon's site.

It looks like a few others have done a little better though.

Can you get this deal in stores too or is it just online/ phone?

Pulled the trigger yeaterday PM on the 4311 @ EE. Called said I was considering 4311 and he immeadiately quoted $1239 shipped. No codes or haggling but did have to pay SC tax, above the 1239. Pleasant experience and All in clearly spoken English

Moving up from 2308 and as Mr Batpig said @ this price it is a no brainer.

Edit: 7-10 day wait for NEW stock and has 3 yr warranty

I pretty much waited for the 3313CI announcement to see if it will have XT32 & SubEQ. Since it won't and I was not interested in either 4K passthrough or HDMI Zone2/3, 4311 is the one for me (although, I do like the 2013 design)

Maybe an upcoming product 4313 or somesuch may have all these features and more but I ain't waiting that long.

The 3313 will have a few features that the 4311 does not have. The biggest would be 4K video and a third HDMI output that can be used for Zone2. I do not have any use for either of those features so the 4311 is the much better unit IMO.

I was in the same situation and once it was known that the 3313 would not have XT32 it was off my list. I bought the 4311 and I could not be happier with it.

The replacement for the 4311 will be the 4520. Which should be an excellent unit with I believe a list price of around $2500. Maybe I'll replace my 4311 with the 4520 when EE has it on sale fro $1238.

Hi
I missed the Crutchfield Canada deal.
When I emailed them this week they said the deal is over
Any suggestions for an authorized canadian dealer who would be able to
order the 4311 around 1700 Cad $.

Regards

I've tried to purchase multiple items including the 4311 in the store at web prices and they never allow it. I've always had to call and order. The stupidity is after calling and ordering I would go back to the store and pick up the item.

I received my 4311ci from EE yesterday and they did a pretty good packing job on the receiver. I can't wait to hook this AVR up and I forgot how heavy these Denon's could get. Especially coming from a 1908 receiver.

^^^
When did you place the order?
Placed my order on 05/19.

It shipped Wednesday (05/30), arriving Monday (06/04).

EE no longer has the 1239 deal. I called there this morning and was quoted that price. Then when I called back to order it, they quoted me something over 1300. I told them the price I had been quoted in the morning and they found the guy that had quoted me the price. They had raised the price, but he honored his quote so I have one on the way. They just got a shipment in yesterday, so hopefully it'll ship out quickly for me =^) Audioholics still has the 1299 price tho.

A local BB/Mag has an open box 4311 for $1150 but no remote with it, I told him they would have to do better than that with no remote but he would not budge (I shot for $999).

That's not a *bad* deal if that's all that's wrong with it. If you have a universal, you could definitely get away from not having the regular one. Even getting one for that price, you could probably buy a remote for it from someone who has a universal and doesn't use it and still get a screamin deal.
Well I already have a Denon remote that would work but now that I found this http://www.newremotecontrol.com/deno...=307010068001D I may go back tomorrow and try to talk a different salesman/manager down to $1K.

Mine is arriving tomorrow, cannot wait to hear it!
I did a major overhaul of my HT setup, coming from a Denon AVR-1610 hooked up to Polk RM-85 speaker set mated to a PSW-110; now I'll have the 4311CI with PSB Imagine Minis.

No luck for me, they would not budge even though it's the unit only, no remote, box, etc.

They claimed $1150 was their cost and they could not change it, which I know is BS because I have purchased many items from them below their cost as I had a friend that worked there and he would always remind me of the deal I was getting . Heck I bought a demo projector from them that was thousands below their cost and recently several open box blu ray players and a demo 60" HDtv all below cost.

Ah well, not going to give up on it just yet since it is such a fantastic AVR, will check to see if it is there each weekend and see if/when they are ready to go lower.

Best of luck on the 4311 deals guys!

I watched a lone Def Tech BP7001 for three months. Talked to several different employees and no one would budge on their price. I ended up getting it when I found another matching 7001 from another source. BB can be pretty stubborn.

Called EE 20 minutes ago inquiring about the $1249 open box 4311 deal(unavailable online). Before I could keep going the salesmen offered me the 4311 brand new for the $1249 price.
