RYTHMIK Enclosure questions

post #1 of 4

Why are there ,or seem to be differences , in Ext (Vol) Enclosure sizes between (F12 and DS1200) and the (F15 and D15), which would also change Int Vol also?

F15 = 19x19x20= (7220) and the... D15= 18x18x24= (7776)

F12 = 15,75x15.75x17 = (4217) and the...DS1200 =15.5x15.5x21.5 = (5165)

Just wanted to know if anybody knows why and what difference it makes with more Int volume??

The DIY dimensions are what to be considered "optimum". The ready made subs are sized as such to factor in cost of shipping.

Hello Randyc1-you are mistaken about the D15; it is 18x18x21.5=6966. The D15SE has a 2.5" foot that is not part of the external volume.

U could be right,... I assumed that because the DS 1500 has a total height of 26.5, ( -2.5 for legs ) = 24 , i figured the D15 would of been the same ??
