WNYW-DT NYC OTA & FiOS

I noticed on the pregame the taped segments had very tinny audio.

The rain is rendering the sky cam useless on distance shots.
Like last week the main field cams look a little soft.
Heavy swimming artifacts.
The ground cams are good.
All the graphics on screen have artifacts on and around them.

Pound that rock! D go get it! Go get it! Play like a 49er today!

Literally! And the worst weather is supposedly yet to come.

Weather isnt helping the picture via Directv, but so far not bad for you SF fans. Davis is a damn beast! I hate the NFL sometimes though. Penalty for standing on the camera stand? Come on. No Fun League indeed.

Why isn't the Lambeau leap a penalty?

Because like nearly all professional sports leagues, the rules are enforced unevenly. Why we have to protect players from getting their feelings hurt by excessive celebration in the first place is a mystery to me, these guys are professionals, not a bunch 5yr olds.

Nice 720p pic. The skycam needs a lens wiper. Vibrant picture considering the weather.

Surround, rears, and sub are more active than CBS. 16:9 ticker & bug, and troy n buck are nice.

Watching on WAGA Comcast Atlanta.

If Davis picked up the camera stand and smashed it around like King Kong, then it's using it as a prop. Getting on it should be no different than using the crowd as a prop in Green Bay.

Artifacts all around players, FOX bug on the right and the score/clock on the left. Turf is swimming on the wide shot. Antenna, WSFX Wilmington, NC - Decent 5.1 audio

Interesting that when FOX ran the Pro Bowl promo they included the text that it would be on NBC. CBS's promos for the Pro Bowl had no network and just said "Check local Listings"

The rain drops are random like noise and stresses the encoding.
720p as usual on TWC in Troy, NY.

I wish FOX would use a camera wipey thingy like they do with NASCAR. Pretty good PQ with surrounds and sub firing nicely. Much better than CBS.

EDIT: Saw some white blow out and black crush on the first offensive series but not now.

give Flacco the job of cleaning the lens, he has alot of spare time on his hands now..

well since i couldn't get the east coast harbaugh to win maybe the west coast side can do the trick.

According to @MikePereira The Lambeau leap and dunking the ball over the goal posts were the only two acts grandfathered in. Nothing else was. Can't jump on camera st.

So it really is league sanctioned in favor of Green Bay.

Exactly, uneven enforcement.

I may have asked this before, when did the NFL change it's TV production rules and allow camera people on the field during timeouts and going into commercial breaks?
Just now after the kick return a steady cam ran on to the field and walked around the Giants huddle.
Tom Coughlin could use the lens wipey thing too..

About the same time MLB let cameras jog along the third base path after a home run?

I believe you can do the "Lambeau leap" in any stadium
post #24 of 65
We're also getting a local news update here in Chicago.

Just took a look at Deadspin.com and the pranksters over there are going nuts about the 'leap' rule.

FOX almost missed the first play of the Giants current drive.

It's time to stop using the sky cam.
Haze and fog from the condensation all over the video.

Yes, I don't get that, they can't get the lens wiped down somehow? How very unprofessional.

Either that or start conducting a Doris Day interview...

Looks like the sky cam got a cleaning during the break.
