Hello can anyone give me their input on the popcorn C-300 and what is the difference between it and the A-300. I'm considering purchasing the C-300 when it becomes available.

The obvious differences of a C-300 vs A-300:
C-300-Full BDA Lisence for Full Bluray menu(BD-Live & BD-Java)
A-300- Full navigation menu(no BD-Live, no BD-Java, no official Bluray menu support)
C-300-Can add Blu-ray Drive to play commercial Bluray discs.
but C-300 cost more than A-300.
The C-300's Full Bluray menu support compatibility of ISO or Bluray Discs is no way better than a full standalone Bluray player like an Oppo.
A-300-not as many USB ports as C-300, but for h/w ports and such, just look at Syabas compatibility chart on thier website.

With the above main concerns for me and looking at the comparison chart, I sold my C-200 for an A-300.

I'm all for paying a good price for something but this C-300 is terribly over priced. There are too many good players out there that can do the same thing this device can and cost less. I don't get the price structure here.

Perhaps a bit overpriced, but few have the wireless capabilities that this has (most are really poor), it is silent, supports hot swapping of a hard drive, optional Blu-ray player, etc ... It has a very nice remote, is well made, no vibrations, ...

Most of the media players out there are pieces of junk. They feel junky and look it. The C200/C300 is classy. When I had my C200 it was a very well appreciated device. That was not the case for most of the zillion players that came and went to the dust bin over the past 2 years.

Mind you, I never tried a Dune player. At the time they were hard to get and they had fans.
