actually all three panels had the pops. also, all three were fixed with the update. the two panels i had for 4+ months the pops came back, after months of pop free, high pq viewing? The pops started small and not that noticeable, but got more intense/rapid as time went on. If you still have a warranty they will fix or replace it. If you want to risk that the pops do not get worse, then good luck, I hope it works out for you.

We'll miss you here
dude, you look at my panel on a dark scene and try to tell me you would want to keep it. was I suposed to be happy and content with this?
i will only complain if i receive another defective set, but seeing as there is no E series thread dedicated to a specific defect like this, I am sure i will be fine. truth is that I was totally satisfied with the tv before the pops came back. i never once complained about any other aspect of this set. we shall see how you and others complain when you learn of the short life span inherent in your tv's panel and your warranty is up
I also get a 90 day warranty, and another 90 days are added when I register my E series.Edited by Icon13 - 11/20/12 at 11:14am
